
Janashakthi Finance PLC, formerly known as Orient Finance PLC and a subsidiary of JXG (Janashakthi Group) announced a solid financial performance for the first half of the financial year ended 30th September 2025, reporting strong growth across key business metrics and continued progress in executing its long-term strategic priorities.
The Company delivered a Profit Before Tax (PBT) of LKR 241 million for the first half of FY2026, marking a 22% year-on-year (YoY) increase, supported by disciplined portfolio expansion and enhanced operational efficiency. As the Company continues to invest in strengthening its long-term growth trajectory, it delivered a resilient Net Profit After Tax (NPAT) of LKR 141 million as of 30th September 2025.
Net Operating Income surged by 34% YoY to LKR 1.43 billion, a reflection to the Company’s sharp focus on core income generation and prudent balance sheet management. The Loans and Receivables portfolio grew by 49% YoY to reach LKR 26.7 billion, driven by renewed lending activity across key customer segments. Meanwhile, Deposits rose to LKR 16.9 billion, reflecting a 17% increase, underlining the growing confidence of customers and investors in the brand’s trusted financial stewardship.
