This role would enable you to assist in generating technological resolutions with a deep understanding of contributing variables, deliver sound proposals using convincing communication and work collaboratively with both internal and external partners based on current development methods in order to meet organizational objectives in the most beneficial manner taking the triple bottom-line into account.  

Key Responsibilities 

• Attend relevant technical meetings on product development and provide comprehensive details on the technology and its constraints to assist in developing technological products.  
• Identify the most effective method of technology product construction, working with relevant stakeholders to create garments that are in alignment with the design intent and in accordance with the product development process.  
• Perform the required testing to verify the suitability of the proposed combination of adhesive, machine and method for the relevant application/material combination and select required machines and machine settings for development and in-house bulk.   
• Manage daily R&D sample room operations to ensure on-time sample delivery.  
• Adhere to the critical path at each gate during the product development process.  

Knowledge and Skills 

• B.sc in Chemical & Process Engineering or Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering or material science & engineering  
• 3-4 years of relevant work experience  
• Good language and computer literacy  
• Good knowledge of technological product development (Bonding and other related technologies)  
• Basic knowledge of pattern and construction
