Division & Role Introduction
Linea Aqua is a swimwear manufacturer, established as a joint venture between MAS Holdings and Speedo International in 2001. Linea Aqua operates across Sri Lanka and Vietnam, and in addition to swimwear, also offers activewear solutions to select customers, providing a comprehensive service across performance and lifestyle categories. Along with servicing its joint venture partner, Speedo, the company also services premier international brands such as In Private, Aerie, and Land’s End, and is the go-to manufacturer for high-performance swimwear worn by Olympic athletes.

We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to assist in innovating marketable concepts based on emerging trends and deliver palpable business ideas for the business unit to convert them into investment-grade opportunities in line with the overall business strategy for the SBU.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Identifying consumer needs to create new business opportunities, new initiatives that are viable and bankable.
Conducting market research on consumer needs market potential and industry analysis.
Researching and validating market size and competitor analysis.
Work with co-creators and consumers to validate the need, collate feedback and make potential partnerships with relevant stakeholders.
Quantifying the potential innovations and understanding the potential revenue generation.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Economics, Statistics, or Engineering from a recognized university.
Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
Competency in market research and industry analysis.
Creative and innovation-driven mindset.
Experience in consumer/product validation.
Strong stakeholder and project management skills.
Data analysis and KPI reporting capability.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Entrepreneurial and agile approach to problem-solving
