Division & Role Introduction  

MAS Active is a division of the larger MAS Group, specializing in manufacturing athleisure and sportswear designed for agility, comfort, and performance. MAS Active has set up operations across Sri Lanka, the Dominican Republic, and Italy. Serving top brands like lululemon, Patagonia, Lacoste, Ralph Lauren, and Gymshark, MAS Active blends high-performance sportswear with fashion, and is innovating in the space of wearable products that track fitness metrics and workout analytics. - We are on the lookout for a dedicated individual to facilitate the sourcing of Raw Material for allocated customer orders and ensure that the correct quantity of raw materials is in-house in a timely manner in order to facilitate the production process thereby, ensuring 100% completion of orders.

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Liaise with suppliers for activities for the following in order to obtain raw material with cost benefits and best quality.
• Coordinate with the Commercial team in order to ensure all raw material required for the production process is forwarded to the relevant factories accurately and on time.
• Liaise with relevant factory personnel/ suppliers on material received, and re-order material as and when required whilst, monitoring material consumption up to the order completion stage in order to ensure required quantity & quality of raw materials are available.
• Ensure that relevant raw material is sourced for the production process by performing activities such as the following in a timely manner in order to facilitate accurate completion of customer orders.
• Attend the weekly Merchandising meeting and provide information on material delivery status, discuss the freeze plan, buys, delays etc. whilst, highlighting issues in order to ensure all relevant parties are updated on the delivery status and necessary actions are taken to resolve issues.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS    

• Degree in relevant field or CIM as an equivalent professional qualification
• 1-2 years’ experience in Merchandising or a similar role
• Knowledge on MS Office Packages
• Knowledge of Supply Chain
