Division & Role Introduction

Empower transformation by becoming a driving force of change at MAS. We are in pursuit of a skilled individual to join the Intimates-MDS team as a Pattern technologist. This role would require you to hold the ownership of the technical aspects of the product by adhering to the critical path to achieve customer expectation & give leadership to a team of pattern techs to fulfil their job responsibilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Ensure the following duties are completed such that the embellishment process for submission of sample is carried out in an efficient manner
• Maintain continuous improvements on embellishment developments to achieve efficiency and cost effectiveness
• Ensure the following duties in order to prevent disruptions in the embellishment process.
• Support the teams by developing new embellishment techniques for designer’s presentations and or customer visits to ensure set expectations are achieved
• Organize meetings with relevant business teams in order to ensure smooth functioning of the process whilst liaising with customers for any development related issues or clarifications.
• Ensure development of the new artwork is carried out efficiently an as per customer requirements.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS    

• A Degree in physical science, Textile or Clothing from a recognized university.
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Strong background in apparel production.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
